More than 11 million people in the United States have eating disorders.

And because an eating disorder can be a life-threatening condition with serious medical consequences, you'd assume that most health insurances polices would cover it. But many people living with eating disorders are falling through the cracks when it comes to health insurance, because in most cases, their treatment is not adequately covered, according to the National Eating Disorders Association.

Another special interest group seeking to use the coercive power of government to feather their own nest. Helath insurance is a contract. You can contract to protect anything you want. Lloyd's of London insures the hands of athletes and musicians, the legs of dancers, etc. You want insurance for an eating disorder buy the contract and pay the premium. It's that simple.

A woman where I work just got her stomach sewn up on our insurance. She was also given generous time off to recover.

It seems that many claiming disorders aren't just born with a disorder they creat it or we have alot of disorders from what I see.Seems there were very few in the past until they invented junk food and people could afford it.
