I missed the bulletin, how many no bid/no oversight contracts has ACORN been awarded?

I didn't know until now that W was a member of ACORN.

Thanks for the info.

I think this says all we need to know about your knowledge of Obama.

While I am not an Obama fan, Haliburton was way way worse than Acorn. To compare the two is completely wrong in my honest opinion. Haliburton clearly siphoned billions while killing in the process. Although I do agree that there needs to be something done about the gross misconduct of Acorn.

The difference between Halliburton and ACORN is that Halliburton actually did most to all of the things it was accused of. ACORN has merely had the bad luck to become a whipping boy for the usual band of unprincipled right-wing propagandists.

Not exactly the sort of thing the Attorney General of the United States gets involved in. Hell, it happens every day in lawyer and accountants offices all over the country.

Obama taught Constitutional Law at a Chicago Law School.

Now you're talking!

Ah...

You ARE talking about the Bush White House and its lawyers, aren't you?

Sweetie, Wake up! The Obama adminstration is one unmitigated disaster after another. Anyone who thinks he's doing a good job, is not facing reality.

$50 billion? Link

Obama pushed for through Barney Frank? Obama was IL's junior Senator from the minority party for four years before he became President. For two of those years Washington was under the total control of the Republicans and the Bush administration. For the other two years he was a part of the just barely majority party with a president who would veto any legislation from that majority party. In other words, Obama had very little power in the Senate. Barney Franks didn't even have much. For six years the Republicans absolutely controlled Washington and then for the next two years they defacto controlled it with Bush's veto power and the Dems not having anywhere near enough votes to override a veto. And yet you people want to blame Obama for everything.

If Barney Frank wanted something in those years that the Republicans didn't want to give him, he wouldn't have gotten it.
