dead janitor policies the new corporate way to fund insurance and pension. how can you legally take out insurance on somebody w/o their knowledge?
especially if you provide the work environment for their safety and health

No, because you don't have an insurable interest in a complete stranger. Employees are treated differently.

I think it's because it doesnt affect them personally, directly and immediately.

Same people who defended manufacturing jobs moving to Mexico in the 80s.
