Please do supply a factual record of just how many times in those days the General made a request for a meeting that was turned down.

What is so wrong with Obama celebrating his anniversary? Sheesh. How many vacations did Bush go on in his first year of presidency before he actually *did* something?

I am not an Obama fan-girl by any means and I am just as critical of him as I was of Bush. But really... he should be allowed to celebrate his anniversary.

Liberal Democrat Senator Durbin...Have you ever heard a republican say that.. He basically made a mistake...he let his true colors out...like most liberals that hate the military...whether they want to admit or not
You are the one that is against big government. What exactly is the military? It is part of the government and who is going to pay for it? The taxpayers. In a different thread you were whining about too much government involvement.

Does Molly Henderson know you are quoting her comments almost verbatim without attribution? Some of us libs read the Drudge Report, too. See the first comment under the Chicago tribune article.

c'mon...do you think that because it isn't in the public or at available at the click of a mouse that they haven't communicated? To think that is not downing the office of POTUS but that of the Military lacking faith in their ability. If you have researched this you would know that first thing each and every morning their is a briefing before anything else is done.
Chromekitty if that were the case...when Obama was being critized for not meeting with the general...im sure Gibbs would have came out and said something to quell the criticism..again he's a liberal that hates the US military and it shows

So you are actually admitting that you are against a big government but at the same time you are passionate about a strong army provided by the government that costs lots of money?
That is a contradiction.
I would do it like Ron Paul (not a leftie) suggested: Get the troops out of foreign countries and save lots of money by doing so.

Edit: Tony just got owned.

His anniversary is something different to me than an evening just flying some where to have a date with his wife...it seems he doesn't understand that the campaign is over and that he doesn't have to date his wife since they are already married.

I have no clue what he did and didn't want to read about it, but I agree with the OP that Obama has showed his inexperience and many of the people who were against him got confirmed why they were against him and others are dissapointed like KevK and many many others who didn't get Obama to fill up their gas tank...
