The disastrous rollout of the Affordable Care Act was the catalyst for my party’s midterm thumping.

I grew up in a Democratic family. I have been a registered Democrat since age 18, a Democratic candidate for statewide office in Colorado and a party precinct captain in that caucus state. I’ve volunteered for numerous Democratic candidates and contributed to party causes and campaigns. The 2014 election results were extremely disappointing for me, but hardly a surprise.
I voted for Barack Obama in 2008, then lost my job in the Great Recession
I think Democrats in many cases were lied to on what the bill contained by leadership. I know a lot who thought they could keep their policy and why not the president repeated it time and again. Its no secret that few knew what exactly was in the bill other then what was disclosed in markup and allowed debate which was little. Now he has even loss the most liberal in his plan not working to leave Iraq and results. Today Joint Chief of Staff said to defeat ISIS in Iraq would require 80K well trained Iraq forces. That is even unsettling to me after all the sacrifice our troops have made. Obama always resisted military advice and did things in half. This is the results of his plan..
You had the ability to read the bill long before Nancy pelosi made that statement.
Most everyone who was opposed, you know them as"Repukes", smelled the dirt but the fraud was so well covered up by a corrupt democratic party it was difficult to point out.
But, just like global warming, the smell of fraud and corruption was there.

It is not our job as private citizens to read every bill Congress votes on, especially the 2500 page monstrosity known as the Unaffordable Care Act. Our representatives are supposed to do that. Unless you're a Democrat, then you don't think ANYONE needs to read a bill before voting on it.
You're kidding right? "If you like your doctor you can keep your doctor." "There will be a savings of approximately $2,500 a year on premiums." "Everybody will have insurance."

Serious question: What is wrong with you?
1. I am responding to someone who claimed referenced the Pelosi video as if we didnt have the ability to read the bill. If you had actually responded to context instead of trolling you would know that.
2. The bill isnt 2500 pages, its like size 34 font, triple spaced, centered, and indented. Its like 150 pages if it was in the form of a normal book. You would know that if you had ever taken the time to even look at it.
3. By admitting you have never actually looked at it, you are destroying your own argument, that is beautiful.
So to answer your question, there is nothing wrong with me, i demonstrated an interest in my democracy and actually read legislation that effected me instead of waiting for some Fox News host or The Blaze writer to parrot back their opinions.
