I have to say that i'm a big Bill Maher fan.I like that he is willing to blast both parties when not doing what they should, instead of showing utter bias to one party that's unwarranted. I have in the past listened to Rush Limbaugh but obviously he hates the democratic party no matter what they do but this is my opinion.Which of the two do you prefer and why?

Isn't Bill Maher going to publicly debate Rush Limbaugh in March?

Bill Maher is just someone I can't take for more than 5-minutes. The man is more full of himself than anyone I can think of. Rush Limbaugh jokes about his arrogance and his "talent on loan from God" bit to the point where you know it's a joke. Maher just takes himself that seriously. There's just something about the guy that makes me want to punch him in the face. He's got a few good one-liners. He's the latte smug comedian if there ever was one.

Limbaugh will definitely take cracks at Republicans given the chance. He's a conservative first; a Republican second. No doubt about that.

I can take plenty of other liberal commentators/comedians. Jon Stewart comes to mind. Funny guy. Other end of the political spectrum.

The other thing I can't stand about Maher? His insistence about jumping on the issue of personal faith. The guy offends a lot of people that way. When you tack on his holier-than-thou attitude, it's just not watchable. He'd be a lot more palatable if he'd stay away from that.

What I like that Maher did was previously call the Dem's a bunch of puss--s for not standing up to the republicans previously. He speaks his mind and tells it like it is.He is also an atheist(even though born 1/2 jewish and 1/2 catholic) so he wants proof for everything. BM doesn't take himself too seriously! He often refers to his pot smoking, and screwed up relationships. Rush would blast the dem's even if they came up with the cure for cancer! Rush's opinion of himself is that of a deity and not less.

BM is a total moron. Rush is Moderator cut: no name calling!....a true American patriot.

Tell us how BM's opinion of himself is anything less than what you falsely accuse Rush of.

Remember....Rush is right....maher is an idiot. Keep that in mind, and you may actually figure out the truth someday.

Maher's great. He knows that real patriotism involves trying to make your country a better place and mending its flaws, not worshiping it like a 4 year old worships mommy. The latter, unfortunately, is the vogue among most of those who call themselves "conservative" nowadays.

And I like the fact that he takes apart garbage like creationism and calls it out as the crap it is, rather than paying it undeserved respect.

I agree that they BOTH think quite highly of themselves but BM will always put himself down for a laugh where RL views himself like a guy who has a record of whats going to happen because of the book he obtained in the future. If you want a statement how about RL shouldn't quote the constitution if he only knows the words of the Decl. of Ind. and the truth is that Rush is not a patriot ;when his wish of the democratic party failing is more important then this country succeeding. He's a self-absorbed MORON!

I agree.I've watched alot of these guys and even though some might prefer one party over the other;I refuse to watch an idiot like RL. When your party being right is more important then prosperity for us all even if under another party---then you need to shut up!
