Making money. You must be one of the monetary ignorants.

Please tell me how millions of people make money in the market when an index goes from over 14000 to 10000.

Yes- Millions of Americans are making money.

America Lost $10.2 Trillion Of Wealth In 2008

With that logic business owners should be paying customers.

Given what the responses were when the markets did well under Bush, I would think the Dems wouldn't be happy. Under Bush, it was just a sign of the rich getting richer and a jobless recovery.

This is silly, we're all in a better situation of the economy improves - the market being one part of that.

Why would republicans be mad that the stock market is rising?

Republicans are not anti-Obama no matter what. Republicans are anti Obama when he institutes poor policies which harm the country.

Also, how does this help Obama? I hear liberals say on a daily basis that Obama is not to blame for the high unemployment rates (he hasn't been in office long enough!), but now you are saying he IS to blame for a rising DOW? Are you really ignorant enough to think Obama is only to blame for the good and not the bad? Please stay consistant in your ideology or stop with inane posts like this.

While millions more are out of work, losing their jobs and homes?

While hussein obama and his thugs in the Democrat congress are making moves to raise their taxes?

While hussein obama and his thugs in the Democrat congress are making moves to legalize illegal immigrants that will take more jobs and drive wages down further?

No I do not think the Republicans are mad about the stock market.

If I read any intelligent responces from conservatives that display economic competence, I will donate $20 to your paypal account no questions asked. Given the fact that this is far from the norm, I doubt i'll be loosing any capital today.

Only if that investor timed the market.
They made money back but have not made money.

The point is it is good the market has climbed to 10,000 but the amount of wealth that was lost over the last 2 years is gone for a long time.
Millions of Americans are not making money right now they are trying to recoup losses.
