Everyone involved is dead...it happened a while ago you know.
But keep believing that peace and harmony reigned supreme under Islamic rule.
If you had visited Cordoba - you would not post ill-informed messages about regions which you have no knowledge of.
Everyone involved in the purchase of St Vincents church are dead, as you point out.
However if you were familiar with the history of Islam/Christianity and the history of Spain, you would know that to this very day there is still very strong feeling about the Moorish conquest and the Christian reconquest of Spain.
Yet the Spaniards today acknowledge that the Cordoba transaction was just and equitable event.
That's why I deliberately referred to Cordoba earlier.
I knew that you would immediately invoke the scaremonering sterotype.

You outted yourself, amigo.
Having lived in Spain myself I find your attempts at superiority rather amusing...
Also when you post something please support your position with something beyond "I say so"...

If you lived in Spain as you claim, you would know that the history of places like Cordoba and the Moors.
And you would know that even modern day Spaniards hold pretty strong views about Moors and all the attendant history.
I deliberately cited Cordoba : because the Spanish themselves acknowledge that events at Cordoba concerning the sale of St Vincents was equitable and just.
It is obvious that you have no knowledge of this.

Don't waste your breathe on posters like these. They are nothing but liberal, know it all, blowhards. There are quite a few on here too, you know who I'm talking about.

I look forward to your historical analysis of the Moorish invasion of Spain.

I would suggest that you haven't lived in Spain.

I made the mistake of staying one night in La Linea : I had attempted to drive from Pamplona to Bacelona but was just too tired and stopped off for one night in La Linea.
Bad mistake.

At a guess I would say Spanish : even though they're British citizens effectively the people there are of Spanish origin.
