Riiiggghhhht. You keep telling yourself that.

He campaigned for Corzine FIVE times, he declared that Corzine would help him implement his agenda, he had a staffer virtually running his campaign, he gave face time, prestige and political capital to Corzine - and was completely and uttererly rejected by the voters.

When you have 90% of voters in those two states who are worried about the direction of the economy, the spending, the taxes, the lack of jobs and focusing on the WRONG issue, that is a referendum on obama.

It is the radical democrat policies that have people worried and obama is the leader of that party and in the drivers seat.

Keep dreaming. Just because Obama is lousy doesn't mean I'm going to go off running into the arms of the GOP. Bush was just as lousy. One side assaults us with the Patriot Act and illegal wars, and the other side assaults us with socialized medicine and crippling government spending.

They're just two sides of the same coin. When are people going to wake up and realize this? We keep tossing one group out in favor of the other, and we get the same results.

If this country ever needed a third party -- one that's not a corporate slave and that actually follows the Constitution -- it is NOW.

his party is likely to suffer substantially at the polls next year, especially if it is true that the UE will remain 10%+ throughout 2010.

This has to be one of his greatest accomplishments to date.
So you're actually rooting for unemployment to remain high, just to get Obama out of office?

This is how blind allegiance to political parties is killing this country.

Again, don't let the FACTS and the last two years in NJ stop you from that drug induced dream. Corzine was rejected by the voters, Obama's approval in NJ is still positive. Ahh never mind continue with the pipe.

considering you added more to your post on numbers and feedback that your pulling out of your...well you know..

I will say this again since you refuse to read up on Corzine and the ill's NJ has felt towards the man since 2007, the Economy and TAXES have been a sticking point against this man for over two years BEFORE OBAMA. considering you just refuse to let that FACT sync through your head it goes to show your BIAS is ignorant to FACTS.

Amen to that. I can't remember the last time I voted for a Democrat, and Republicans lost me after 9/11.

I'm a democrat, however I will vote outside of my party if there is a better candidate. IMO that wasn't Corzine or Christie, unfortunately Dagget did not win.

Ever so quick on the uptake. Obama carried VA in 2008 by a margin of 53-46. But those who went to the polls in 2009 had voted 51-43 for McCain a year earlier. Just part of the undoing of your theory that independents are somehow moving to the right. Simply isn't so...at least not based on any evidence out of Virginia.

What happened in Virginia was that Deeds could not get out the vote that Obama had. Deeds drew fewer than half the voters that Obama attracted in Virginia. McDonnell didn't pick up any Obama Independents, they just stayed home because Deeds was not an inspiring candidate.

We have a ways to go before someone emerges as the GOP leader(s).

Want to run the country? The democrats are doing that - right into the ground.

All we need right now is reasonable opposition and good ideas to beat back obama's radicalism.

A "leader" per say is not necessary...right now.

In fact, it is much better to have obama trying to attack the average citizen that disagrees with his policies - a much more ticklish problem for him.

Without a GOP leader to target, he is left to attacking Fox, business and ordinary citizens that disagree with him. Perfect
