if she's so tough then why does she have to "write" a book that whines about what a victim she is??? i thought that one of the hallmarks of the GnOP is personal responsibility ... she needs to take some.
Have you read the book?
I haven't read it so I can't say that she "whines" about being a victim. (I would only say that if I hadn't read the book, was left-leaning and didn't like Sarah ).
Basically, we are all discussing stuff the "media" has "SAID" the book says. You know they are busy trying to diss it to bring those atronomically high book sales down. Won't work. Anyone who listens to Levi Johnston has a problem. Bottom line - we are treated to a constant stream of political books and the author is entitled to his/her point of view. If Sarah wants to get her side of things out there - go for it. I don't choose to believe the reviews of those who hate her anyway.
After her first national appearance and speech, ratings for McCain/Palin went through the roof. She became more popular among Republican voters than McCain. That was when the McCain staff started pushing her aside and dictating to her what they wanted of her. McCain was about as exciting as Bob Dole. I think the reason why the press still wants to hound her is because of how much she moved the conservative voters prior to McCain's staff's butting in.

Although Canada is technically a foriegn nation I don't think any of us give them much though as a threat. In fact, they are so neighborly they are probably considered by most of us as just the part of the "family" located up north.
For this past election I honestly feel she hurt McCain but I do see her making a stronger name for herself and becoming a prime candidate for the next presidential election.
That's basically what it was. He felt that by having a woman by his side he would gain all the Clinton voters who were already feeling uneasy about Obama.
YEP, and she was so eager and willing to give it up. She had no clue about politics in the lower 48 so McCain used her for what she lowered herself to be. Perhaps, he knows something we don't.
