Officials: FBI investigates ACORN for voter fraud - Yahoo! News (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20081016/ap_on_el_pr/voter_fraud_fbi_1 - broken link)

Quote:
A senior law enforcement official confirmed the investigation to The Associated Press on Thursday. A second senior law enforcement official says the FBI was looking at results of recent raids on ACORN offices in several states for any evidence of a coordinated national scam.

Both officials spoke on condition of anonymity because regulatons forbid discussing ongoing investigations particularly so close to an election.

ACORN, the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, says it has registered 1.3 million young people, minorities and poor and working-class voters — most of whom tend to be Democrats.
Excellent. Time to rein in this organization and their criminal practices that have been going on for years.

But don't you know? Some imbeciles think it's a "human right" to register 70 or 80 times.

And some imbeciles think its alright to suppress legitimate voters.

Some idiots think that distraction with registration fraud is going to prevent folks from noticing real voting fraud by republicans.

Vote early. Vote often. That's the Dems' motto.

What's funny is how everyone attaches Acorn's wrongdoing to Dems and Obama. Obama has no connection to this whatsoever, and as I understand it, IT WASN'T EVEN POLITICALLY MOTIVATED, just some employees working on some quasi commission pay scale trying to turn some extra bucks.

But the dried up stump speech continues... Obama has past with a terrorist, Obama is in cahoots with ACORN. All it takes is a statement and a bunch of uninformed bigots who would purchase a pile of sh1t if it had a McCain stamp of approval on it.

How about Karl Rove ACTUALLY committed Electoral fraud, not just shallow insinuations... as in caging lists sent via email which leaked, aka voter suppression on multiple levels.

Then you have GOP hanging signs in PA in poorer neighborhoods suggesting anyone with a criminal record or even so much as an outstanding traffic ticket better not show up at polls. This was recently reported. Then you have the voters (i.e. lobbyist employees) who challenge peoples' legitimacy on the spot due to returned mail for whatever reason (from mass mailing lists) and address discrepancies between the License Bureau and Social Sec. Administration. Good thing states like Ohio have introduced new legislation to deter this sort of thing, which was a result of the 2004 fiasco. Now, you can't challenge an OH voter within x amount of days before election.

Hypocrisy is immense with the Republican Party this year. They are skilled sh1tless each and every election of a massive turn out from lower to middle income and military, it's quite ridiculous really.

Focus on the trivia. Build mountains out of molehills. Character issues, not real-world issues.

McCain is doing exactly what you're doing here. And he's failing spectacularly too.

Now Sanrene come on is this true?

You know it is all "hype" right Wing conspiracy propaganda hate, oh and racist hate for Obama.... to say that the FBI is investigating ACORN...

Oh and also you know that not one of them could ever vote in the phony multiple names.

I mean give different addresses so they vote at different places or do absentee ballots and BINGO they have voted!

This is why GORE thought was so sure he had won................

You're also aware that McCain was the keynote speaker at one of their functions not too long ago, right? He advocated this group long before using them as swiftboat attack.
