Four months before midterm elections that will define the second half of his term, nearly six in 10 voters say they lack faith in the president to make the right decisions for the country, and a clear majority once again disapproves of how he is dealing with the economy.
62% would like to see someone new in their congressional seat, which is good news considering the dems occupy more seats. But again, we have the media touting the anti-incumbent mood, when really it is anti-obama/dem policies driving the anger.

54% Disapprove of his performance on the economy and a third of democrats feel the same.

58% have no confidence in obama on the deficit.

Now consider this:

The partisan demographics in this poll are;

40% Indies
31% Democrats
24% Republicans.

OMG! that is some screwed up skewing of the partisan gap, but how else would they be able to hide the catastrophic numbers they would get without skewing the party id? As it stands, the numbers are just devastating.

Polls are volatile by nature but this is a bad sign for the administration.

71% of the sample is not Republican and numbers like those are found?

Yes, exactly. I get a tingle up my leg just thinking about what the numbers would be with a valid sample.

Laughable that even with skewing the sample polled, they come up with BAD numbers for Obama.

Citizens maintain enormous confidence in Obama, and his ability to bring this Nation to it's knees.

Great line.

I get a tingle up my leg as well when I think about Obama in manacles.

Just think what the numbers would be with a valid sample - absolutely catastrophic.
