Anybody with a brain knew the guy was being steered to lie by the Left so they could use it in their never ending campaign against the woman they fear the most.
"Last year, after Bristol and I broke up, I was unhappy and a little angry.
"So to the Palin family in general and to Sarah Palin in particular, please accept my regrets and forgive my youthful indiscretion," Johnston said in the statement. "I hope one day to restore your trust."
He said: "I publicly said things about the Palin's that were not completely true." Interesting that he's leaving the door open that some of what he said IS true. In any case, good Christians that the Palin's claim to be I would expect their acceptance of his apology to be forth coming and to include an apology to him for calling him an aspiring porn star.

In a perfect world that would be the case, but unfortunately we live in a gossip society where people want to know all the dirt and every little speck of drama from celebrities and politicians, and personal matters are not off limits. If anything are often the ace cards.
People don't really care to follow all the policies and good they do, only the garbage they spew in attack ads, and they are going to keep getting worse and worse. Why? because they work.

Any candidate that would stoop low enough to use that stuff in an ad should lose. There is plenty enough to go after Palin about policy wise. There is no reason to bring her private family matters into a public campaign.
His 15 minutes of fame were coming to a end Hollywood did not call him to make the Levi story. And then he was faced with reality and realized what a little scum bag that he is and then he had a moment of clarity and thought of his son instead of himself.
He is a young kid but at least he learned to man up and it is good that the Palin's are looking at it the same way.
