Your memory must be failing and so is your argument. I usually give posters the benefit of the doubt until they say something really stupid, and that time has arrived.
I understand why you think it's a stupid thread, you can't read. No one was called communist in the op, nor by any of my responses. The last time I remember however, the USSR stood for United Socialist States of Russia. Is that not pretty darn clear?

Here in this thread I have given several opportunites for people to share that the op was wrong, but not one liberal has had the ability to deny the facts. I encourage you to put your talents to better use. Study the failures of socialism following the empty promises, then report back to this forum.

Depends on your definitions, but for most purposes, no, liberalism and socialism are not only not the same thing, they are close to being mutually exclusive.

Dusty, other than my mistake on the name, can you point to any flaws in the OP? You certainly haven't yet in all your rantings, name calling, and down right uneducated, childish posts. Even the mistake in the name didn't distract from the point of how socialism in the specific communist political faith was the economic cause of the USSR's demise. Communism is a sub-class of Socialism, just like ****e is to Islam, and Methodist is to Christian.

You've supplied opinion, nothing supported by fact.
For instance: You claim the outlawing of religion was a cause of the USSR's failure. What facts do you have to support that allegation.
