Flying coach these days isn't exactly the most spacious or luxurious experience. But for one overweight passenger on a recent American Airlines flight out of San Francisco, things were really cramped.

In a photo circulating on the Internet, allegedly taken by an American Airlines flight attendant, a very large man is spilling out over his armrest (he actually appears to be sitting on it) and filling half of the aisle.

I read that they moved him so he could have two seats. There's an obvious safety problem if someone's body is blocking half the aisle.

On the other hand, if there is a crash landing the guy sitting next to this obese gentleman could use him as extra cushion.

He is a fire hazard, if I have to have my feet run over by some over ambitious soda slinger then this guy is a problem.
