It's surprising to me just how many people I encounter who eventually reveal that they have at one time consumed illicit narcotics. I'm in my thirties, and even when I was a rock and metal musician, I never touched weed or any other illegal substance. Is it just me or is getting high disturbingly pervasive in our society?
I don't know what the big deal is. What someone puts into their body is their right. Unless of course you believe the government owns your body.

It's so common I just assume everyone has. I'm over 50 and have been around stuff, especially pot, since the 70's but never used anything. All of my friends and my husband did when we were younger. And my eldest child has. It never bothered me to be around it, and I don't know why I never did because I don't have moral issues about it. But I gotta say, deep down I feel a little superior .
