And lets not forget good ole Newt who was cheating on his wife WHILE going after Clinton for his indiscretions. Why can't everybody have morals like the Republicans do?

I am still waiting for him to throw himself into jail and toss the key, as he loves to say about every other drug user.
He was referring to those who use illegal drugs.

Didn't Newt divorce his wife while she was fighting cancer? Kinda like McCain divorcing his wife while she was recovering from a car accident.

Yes, Rush does represent the GOP!

I mean illegal drugs like marijuana (I know it's legal in some places), cocaine, LSD, crack, etc.

Remember, Rush would never had needed a (prescription) pain medication if he didn't have severe back pain in the first place. A lot different from those who take drugs for "kicks" or "fun."

OMG! It is stunningly OBVIOUS that Rush was having "fun" taking that prescription drug. I'm amazed at how you draw the line for what is legal and illegal when it comes to substance abuse. LOL

It is illegal to abuse legal drugs. That is to use excessively or against the prescription.

Those of us who work in pain management know that most people who are addicted to prescription drugs, complain of some sort of pain to obtain those drugs. We call it "drug seeking behavior."

The first clue is they don't want any other treatments to control their pain, only narcotics preferably the ones of the potent short acting variety. Oxycontin is probably the number one prescription medication which is abused.

BTW, you are splitting hairs to defend your buddy Rush.

He's a radio host, not a politician. I don't vote for him. He doesn't promise me anything. I don't purchase anything from him. He doesn't impact my life for or against my will like a politician or corporate CEO. I'm not beholden to him and he's not beholden to me. I only have two choices with Rush Limbaugh - Do I listen to his show? Do I not listen to his show?

Why you lefties get your panties in a twist over him is perplexing. He measures his success by numbers of listeners, not numbers of fans. Thank you for contributing.

Hypocrite right is true!

They only spout about morality when it suits them.

It's been years since I've heard them talk about how they are the "family values" party, I think they've been burned by too many in-the-closet conservatives and republicans who got caught, lol. They're crazy.
