I am curious if anyone here knows what questions will be asked and what data will be gathered during the census?

I realize that they are going to count people Obviously. But other than getting a head count, I have been told elsewhere that they are going to ask very invasive questions about income, family structure, employment, and household information like, how many bathrooms, etc. Is this true? Are there penalties or fines if you refuse to answer *some* of the questions?

If they cannot access your residence due to locked gates, dogs or security measures, how are they going to count everyone? Do they go by 911 addresses or just drive down the street and knock on each door they come to?

I'm just wondering. Thanks

I've never really been of the opinion that the Census is a bad thing. In fact, in my geneology research, past Census data has been very helpful. What is it about the census that gets people so riled up? I'm of the opinion that the government already has access to whatever information it can get from the Census, so why bother resisting? If it wants your birthdate, it can get it. If it want's your income, it can get it. If it wants your household size, it can get it.

What's the problem?

No problem, other than the fact this years census will probably be full of bogus numbers (thanks to the Obama admin).

I certainly don't dispute that. I am afraid of the accuracy, but not the actual info gathered.

Yep, and I've heard that these bogus numbers will be used to institute the Death Panels. Yikes!
