Say what you will about Harry Reid; "ineffectual, unable to herd his cats, couldn't organize a two car parade", and I've said all of them. But, at least he's not simultaneously under investigation by the Senate Ethics Committe, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Justice Department's Public Integrity Unit!

That's a trifecta of folks you really don't want shining a flashlight up your butt. The first one can only attempt to "shame" you in the well of the Senate chamber, but the other two...well, let's just say that once these folks are looking they look at EVERYTHING.

As the late great author George V. Higgins once wrote an FBI agent; "we are the F'ng BI. The Mounties may always get their man, but we get our man, his brother in law and a couple of guys from his bowling team".

Now the voters in NV have to make a hard choice; vote out Harry this November and by the time the Senate convenes in January 2013 have two of the most junior Senators in the building. Senority counts.

His ass could be in a jail cell by then....

At this point I do predict Reid will lose, but the sad sack shape of the Nevada Republican Party may actually help keep Reid in office as the two top Republicans in the state are embroiled in scandal.

Scandal in Nevada! Who would have thought that possible.

These politicians are slippery as fish. I think the only sure fire way to get rid of the fish is to get him out of that political swamp. Harry Reid and John Ensign need to go!
