It is hard to believe a President that says "...I am not interested in re-litigating the past" after he just spent 60 minutes of his First State of the Union Address re-litigating the past and blaming Bush for his problems.

So that article appeared in HuffPo? I find it unbelievable that it would be allowed but after reading the comments, at least the first dozen, I see that it wasn't very popular among the readers. Some managed to be truthful but most of them surely wrote about what I would think.

Good article with so much truth in it that the commenters wanted blood.

I thought that Jadex was saying that something like this appearing in HuffPo was the reason for hope. Read some of the comments and see just how much hope there really is.

Even the liberals think he is a fool now. When a liberal can figure out you are a twit, one is in a desperate state of affairs.

The State of the Union is an annual address presented by the President of the United States to the United States Congress. The address not only reports on the condition of the nation but also allows the president to outline his agenda and national priorities to Congress

from Wikipedia
The fact that we've weathered a tough economic crisis and that more needs to be done to ensure that it doesn't happen again is a fact of relevant to where we are today.

He didn't mention that this is the second time that the banks of our fine country have brought us to our knees by loaning money on margin.
The same big names in banking were there with their hands out this time as were there the last time.

He did say that he didn't want to punish the banks...

The reason why it seems nothing is getting done in Washington is clearly a current problem.
The fact that there is political gridlock, and why, is not about the past. It's about the present.

It sure seems that our representatives in Washington have forgotten why they're there and have become lost in a game of "win or lose"....

If nothing happens before the end of the year to help the current state of our economy,... who's really to blame?
