Plural marriage would be the norm. Men would probably not have to work outside of the home. Women would run the world.

Most would be shot by one of their girlfriends before they had a chance to decide which one to marry.Breach of promise would be legal defense to murder in this country pretty fast as women voters woulkd see to it.Or it would be listed a male suicide.

There would be lots of old maids for a couple of generations but the balance would eventually go back to more or less 50/50 after a while. Nature has a tendency to balance itself out in time.
