Now who do we think approached whom? Why do I think that it wasn't the White House?
Who approached whom isn't important. What's important is instead of putting more face time on television he should be back at his office doing his job.
1) Yeah, it's so selfish of the jerk to applaud the actions of those who catch criminals.
2) You could just change the channel when the show actually airs, but I don't think it will cure you.
I assumed you were serious here because there's nothing to suggest otherwise.
Followup: If the guy goes on TV, he's not doing his job? When Bush was in Crawford, did you complain? I mean, can the President take a nap without the right claiming he's incompetent? Irrationality is loose and running amok in this country!

Oh, quite the contrary. If the charge is that Obama's appearance on America's Most Wanted is some sort of egotistical display on the President's part, then who initiated the invitation is very much the point. As for being back at his office, where do you suppose the taping will occur other than the White House? And exactly how much time do you think that it takes to tape what assuredly won't be more than a 15 sec clip?
I would say that you are losing it, but you lost it a long time ago.
