Do you remeber what happened last time the housing prices went south? Well they are going down again.

Thats great news and hopefully house prices go down faster so future generations of Americans can afford to buy a house.

Default Pending home sales "unexpectantly" plunge

There's that word again - "unexpectantly".

Pending home sales unexpectedly plunge | Reuters

Quote:
The National Association of Realtors said its Pending Home Sales Index, based on contracts signed in January, fell 7.6 percent to 90.4 from an upwardly revised 97.8 in December.

Analysts polled by Reuters had forecast pending home sales, which lead existing home sales by one to two months, would rise 1 percent in January.
When was the last time these "expert analysts" got it right?

I don't see this as political or particularly controversial. I'd say it's par for the course. Would probably be a great fit for the Real estate forum though.

This is absolutely a political controversy because out beloved POTUS tried to artificially keep home prices inflated with his home-welfare program and now it's beating him around the knees.
Nice going president Obozo!

If you think they're plunging now, wait until a couple of months when the tax credit expires.

I love that word "unexpectedly".

You will hear it tomorrow when the February unemployment numbers are released, the numbers will have gone up "unexpectedly".
