Interesting atricle in today's NY Times regarding confusion over how the health care reform law is worded.

From the link:
William G. Schiffbauer, a lawyer whose clients include employers and insurance companies, said: “The fine print differs from the larger political message. If a company sells insurance, it will have to cover pre-existing conditions for children covered by the policy. But it does not have to sell to somebody with a pre-existing condition. And the insurer could increase premiums to cover the additional cost.”

Is this another example of this adminstration missing the next step consequence of their legislation?

And yet Obama will roll his clown car from town to town, to extol the HCR bill's nonexistant "benefits."

Obama seems to think his saying something deems it so.

We got duped and most people know it, the others will eventually find out.
It is always in the fine print.
Buy a magnifying glass, and then hire a lawyer to explain it all.
Run out and buy your healthcare package that won't cover anything but you will have healthcare! YEAAAAAA, BIG MOMENT IN HISTORY! Get ready to welcome the shot, you won't be able to afford the medication that keeps you alive.

I can just picture it now, guess what, the fun has only started to begin. There will be problems we haven't even thought of yet.

In a letter to Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, the industry's top lobbyist said Monday that insurers will accept new regulations to dispel uncertainty over a much-publicized guarantee that children with medical problems can get coverage starting this year.
"Health plans recognize the significant hardship that a family faces when they are unable to obtain coverage for a child with a pre-existing condition," Karen Ignagni, president of America's Health Insurance Plans, said in the letter. She said the industry will "fully comply" with the regulations, expected within weeks.
