Rhode Island has undergone historical flooding of the 100-200 year range. Obama only did a fly-over on his way to talk-up his passed health insurance take over law and made a phone call. Meanwhile Obam's FEMA director is in Orlando for a conference and Spring Break.

Way to put the people's best interests first! (sarc.)

Obama couldn't afford to take time to really look the place over since he was on his way to Maine for another campaign speech. No matter how much damage is done, unless there are dead people it isn't much of a catastrophe, right?

Hey, gal he was on his way to a Health Care campaign event and nothing can really take precedence over campaign goodies.

Umm, living in Mass, and having gone to school in little old Bristol, Rhode Island.

The level of destruction is literally a tenth of that in New Orleans. It sucks for Rhode Island, but even the Republican governor understood why Obama didn't come.

DHS Secretary is there literally right now, surverying the damage.

Obama met with Massachusetts officials yesterday afternoon before heading into Boston. He is well aware of the devastation here.

Obama also knows that he really can't upset New Englanders, he's a golden boy up here.

But maybe in a week, he shows up, but there is so little he can do when there is 10 feet of water everywhere.

I think you're just looking for another reason to hate Obama, my guess is, you don't need to look to hard though.

I could say that it might be related to the racial make-up of the state but I won't lower myself to that of liberal race-baiting. I'm sure that the population of Rhode Island never entered Obama's mind. He is too busy focusing on his own wants and agenda needs.

Generally it is the job of the FEMA director to assess needs/damage related to natural disasters, not DHS. Sec. Napalitano should be on the Southern border.

Is the Rhode Island Flood Obama's "Katrina"?

Doesn't look like it!

Nice way to play the race card.
