I'm not usually one to nit pick, but your thread title specifically states "President Obama," while the quote you used in your post says "then Senator Barack Obama." There's a difference. The guy wasn't plotting to kill the President. I don't doubt that he would have, but let's keep the facts straight here.
That said, I say good riddance to bad rubbish. He's right where he belongs.

I have not met a single teaparty or conservative person that would condone violence, especially against our standing president. You have to be completely insane and deserve to be put away. But on another note, were you as insensed when the crazies on the left of the fence were holding up signs threatening to kill Bush? Did any of them go to jail? I think not. Crazy is as crazy does.
