"..Government: Software flagged new cases, sought reasons to drop policies.."

The women all paid their premiums on time. Before they fell ill, none had any problems with their insurance. Initially, they believed their policies had been canceled by mistake...The software triggered an immediate fraud investigation, as the company searched for some pretext to drop their policies, according to government regulators and investigators.

Insurer targeted breast cancer patients to cancel - Health care- msnbc.com

I posted a similar article awhile ago, that proved that Insurance Companies were doing the same thing to newly diagnosed HIV patients.

The Insurance Companies take your premiums, in some cases for years, and at the onset of a potentially major health issue they find any way to drop your coverage.

Prior to the election of our current President the issue of health care and/or insurance reform was never an issue that was addressed as a major injustice to Americans, it seemed conservatives had no problem with this practice of the Health Insurance Companies.

Irregardless of political affiliation how can anyone defend this as ethical conduct by the Insurance Industry.
