Here is Ron Paul on Chris Matthews last night. This is what an intelligent conversation between two educated, politically informed people sounds like. Notice the topic stayed on issues and political ideology through it's entirety. Nobody demanding to see the president's birth certificate. nobody suggesting that he's going to use the census to round us up into internment camps. nobody saying that granny's worth will be evaluated by a death panel.

I like Ron Paul. I don't agree with everything he says, but he's a true conservative, who can intelligently justify his views.
Maybe if you could get the party back in the hands of people like him, you'd have a shot at getting congress back to a more evenly distributed body.

Hardball with Chris Matthews

That is a good video. I like Ron Paul, but probably not enough to vote for him.

I side with Ron Paul on very few issues, but I agree with the above posters. He does have principles, and is a reasonable enough person most of the time.

Ron Paul, an honest and intelligent man.

Chris Matthews, not so bright or honest.

Agreed. It was an excellent, thought-provoking exchange.
Overall, I think that Mr. Matthews' show has been particularly good this week.

The dumbest comment was how old people can't move in their children because the children live in the suburbs and the old people live in the old part of the city. Hardly sounds like a justification for continuing a Ponzi scheme like SS.
