I'm not right or left..but seems like those who are for the joke only comment "on" the joke instead of answering the OP about this administration and why it is or isn't racist after hearing a joke like this?...You think a "black" joke would go over as good?
The joke was amusing, and most certainly did highlight a stereotype about Jews ... a long and historically sound one at that, which even Jews admit .. if they are honest.
As for Obama, and his minions, there is plenty of reasons to criticize them without searching for one here.
Another non-surprise, considering obama has filled his administration with anti-Israel staff.
You mean like Rahm Emmanuel? He hates Israel so much that he was a civilian volunteer for the Israeli Defense force during the Gulf War. Yeah, that is some real Israeli hate there.
This is possibly the most hostile administration to Israel and you call a provocative joke by Obama's National Security advisor making fun of Jewish stereotypes pro-Semitic?
How does the left manage that feat of twisted thinking?
You did not even note the forum. Take a look at the where this speech was given and then google it. You will find that probably most of the people in the audience were jewish. He was playing to the audience...this is called pandering.

Exactly. It was a Pro-Israel think tank! He was looking to lighten the mood and win over the crowd, and he did just that.
I mean... it was a funny joke! If he'd told it to buddies in an all-WASP golf clubhouse, it would have been one thing, but he told this to a room of mostly Jewish, pro-Isreal think-tank participants!
Now, WHY would the WH leave that joke out of the official transcript?
It wasn't an "official transcript" as Tapper said, he should know better, what was posted at the White House website was the "as to be delivered" speech which is probably almost the case. And the story/joke was a lead-in to the speech and not part of it.
Conservatives are constantly dissing liberals for political correctness, which supposed they abhor, but here we have the conservatives playing the political correctness game over a story that wasn't meant to hurt anyone.
