lets list some of the various bs we expect to hear from Obama tonight to justify Lybias attack..

"We are not at war"
"We did not attack, NATO did"
"it was a humanitarian effort"
"unprecedented group of coalition forces"

He will go on to explain why he had unilateral authority to attack a sovern nation but Bush did not..

And of course he will go on to explain how he started a war in order to stabalize the area.

Anything else?

Oil revenues will pay for all this?

Fighting for others is a good thing?

I don't believe the military should be used for nation building?

I'm the decider?

Hey, they were acceptable once, may as well try the same old BS again.

If Quadhaffi goes, it's worth it. The timing is unfortunate in that it is another entanglement that pushes Afghanistan into the background. However, the opportunity is as good as it has ever been not to act on it.

And if Gadaffi's replaced by a clone or someone even worse we will have accomplished exactly what?

There is a risk, but you still have to act. You can't be afraid of the future.

Yes, we may as well end up with something that is much worse than Gadaffi. That is why we shouldn't have intervened.

Why do we have to act? We've spent untold $$$ building a defense system second to none. It's long past time we told all countries they have a very simple choice, learn to live together or die together, mess with the US and be vaporized.

Just who are we to decide that Gadaffi's abuses are unacceptable but Lukashenko's are? That North Korea can abuse its population but Iraq can't?
