Did Saddam use poison gas against the Iranians? Seems that he did but then we know we couldn't have got a fair trial if we had turned him over to them.

He, like you, have an ax to grind. Did you and he watch the video posted on Clinton's speach? Did you and he read the order Bush signed detailing WHY we were going into Iraq? How many time have we posted the quotes from Clinton and othe democrats long before Bush was elected?

If it wasn't the US who stood strong against many of these afflicted ideas, who would've? What would have those regimes done if they'd had nuclear superiority? Would they have stood down or taken over the world? How about a less divisive subject like immigration or cultural assimilation?
Saddam Hussein was a right bastard but he was not killed for any of his attacks and atrocities in Iraq. He was killed because he threatened GHW Bush and his son wanted both to teach a lesson to the rest of the world’s leaders and personal revenge. INHO the Iraq war is about the shrubs need for revenge and control of the Iraqi oil fields.
The bottom line is an evil dictator who was oppressing his people is out of power. That is always a good thing.
