Uh, oh. He's human. The Senate better impeach him, now.
No, he is not human, he is the media created fantasy presented as a great orator. when a also ran VP candidate from yesteryear makes an oops, it is not in the same universe as a wordsmith, lawyer who parses and inserts adverbs in a sentence, transposes illiterations and takes poetic license. When a heaven sent egomaniacal hologram, in the business of sentence structure makes a verbal mistake, it is the stuff of fallen legends heard around the world. It the stuff of racing legend Mario andretti getting into a fender bender at the local Walmart.
As for EU being a country, despite the recoil from Euros ever becomoing part of the united states of europe, Obamas plans for a new world order have just slipped past his lips.
Sarah Palin once referred to Africa as a country. The media was all over her. Now, in the media's defense (whom I rarely defend, I should add), Sarah Palin was a gold mine for saying stupid things, so every little thing was a target. Obama is, for the most part, a strong speaker and rarely says something that is too foolish sounding.
The thing is, you'd likely not be too ok with people making fun of Palin for this reason. So what do you do? The exact same thing to someone else. You then comment on the fact that you were in fact, doing just that.
So, you're not better than the media, yet you speak as if you are. And I find that despicable.
His mistake is that he is actually showing us that he believes that one currency = one country. It is common ideology among progressive "one worlders". Consider this and then consider Obama's support of one global currency and ask where that leave US sovereignty!
His statemnt was less a mistake and more a Fruedian slip.
The idiot in chief also believes we have 57 states.
I so love that one. Anyone who actually heard the gaffe and can do 1st-grade math would realize the statement implied the US having 60 states, if taken at face value. Very useful to have those who just parrot the talking points self-identify.
