Was it because he was Jewish?

Very strange choice of words describing a horrifying act.

YouTube - Obama: Daniel Pearl's Beheading "Captured the World's Imagination"

“Obviously, the loss of Daniel Pearl was one of those moments that captured the world’s imagination because it reminded us of how valuable a free press is.”

His death had nothing to do with free press. Terrible.

Captured the world's imagination?

Did I hear that right?

Was he off the TOTUS for this one?

More like horrified the world...well, except for those obama won't mention.

Of course despite the titles of both the clip and the thread, 'beheading' is NOT mentioned in the clip, nothing like a little sensationlism along with the NeoConfuseds' great ability to take things completely out of context

And for all those who will feign such indignation at beheading, what do you think of passing an electrical current through a living human being and barbecuing them from the inside out?

What a ridiculous statement your last sentence is.

So, in your view, a video somehow alters the relative barbarity of an act?

If it wasn't recorded it would somehow be different?

Care to explain the relevancy of your seemingly irrelevant statement?

Apparently it's OK to behead someone and even better if one can find a way to criticize America while sitting silent about it.

What typical right-wing hypocrites you both are!

You'll whine about others doing something no more barbaric than we ourselves have done, then hide behind the flag and start your little whiney "America hater!" chant.

What a load of steaming BS!

If either of you had the reading compreshension of an 8th grader you'd perhaps realize I never condoned the beheading, only brought up the hypocrisy of those who've commited barbaric acts condemning others.

His viewpoints and opinions are often otherworldly.
