I see no correlation between the two at all.
Helen Thomas' story was sad and without a silver lining (unless her resignation is something to be happy about). The 82 YO Lady was able to see the silver lining of a rapidly descending presidency.
This letter is very bad for the chicken industry, however. It's causing Republicans to count them before they hatch.
