I'm looking to purchase a condo in the Vero Beach area. I see that the Fairways at Grand Harbor as a few units available. My wife and I would use it for Jan and Feb, we may rent it monthly for the other 10 months but not sure if we really want to at this point. Can anyone offer an insight into this complex and general area.

Thanks

Grand Harbor is a Very, Very nice community in Vero Beach. Its very well established and has a lot amenities that come with it's home ownership like a very nice beach club , golf etc.

Vero Beach as a whole is a very nice retirement community, especially if your only going to spend Jan, Feb there. Those are the best months to escape the Northern Cold. Vero is very laid back , but offers enough to keep you busy. Riverside Theater is a welcomed attraction during the winter for entertainment. There's an Art gallery on the barrier island as well. Riverside Park on the barrier island as well is a great place to get walk in or take tennis lessons.

Ocean Grill is one of Veros Best restaurants on the beach as well as many others around the community. Ocean Drive has many walkable shops as well.

The best thing is like the old saying "One look is worth a thousand words".

I hope this helps, but just to lastly say "Vero is a laid back sleepy town" with retires and young families alike. It makes a good mix in my opinion.

Be certain to check out the HOA of the condo communities in Vero carefully. Many showed just how poor they were a few years ago when the hurricanes came through. Just my $0.02.
