Hi. Let me just say that finding a good hairdresser in Portland ME proved to be more difficult than anticipated. Maybe the vocational schools are not very good. I am very surprised that I have not found a good one yet. Will somebody recommend me a good hairdresser? A hairdresser who would be capable of cutting the hair into one precise and symmetrical line? I have tried several hairdressers in Akari, Coco Cheveux, Ferricchia, Envy... No luck.
This search is proving rather expensive. Any tips?

My wife LOVES Jeff from Bang Cut and Color on Congress Street near Joe's Smoke Shop.

Every one at Satori on Fore st caddy corner from the Portland harbor hotel is excellent and all are educated way beyond vocation school.

Keep in mind most stylists Don't cut straight across these days, they texture, as is the style.
My hair person at Satori takes great care to ensure every thing is even. I also get many compliments on my hair.

And I understand some people want texture but I do not. Hairdressers expect tips but quality is really lacking in general. Just my experience.
