I'm looking for a hair stylist that is good at cutting mens hair in a vintage style
40s 50s look, maybe a rockability type salon. i've been to many salons in portland with no luck
Nobody knows how to cut hair right. Its such a simple cut but if you dont know you dont know.
Please help

Have you tried taking a picture of the look you want to the session? But... why roll the rock uphill? This is Portland, not Austin. It's 2012, not 1940... It's cool to be different but I wonder if one's haircut is the place to make the stand. I don't have hair so it's not for me to say with any degree of certainty but I have it on good authority that students at fashion schools are often willing to try new things. Find one and for goodness sake's, take a picture or few with you. I just can't imagine not getting good results after that.

Are you looking for a salon or a barber? Based on the haircut's description, you might have more luck at an old school barbershop.

slight (and gentle!) tip: it may help to do a search for "rockabilly" if you're using a search engine.
