My wifes new employer offers HealthComp. We had no problem finding a primary care doctor she likes and hospital services are through Legacy so no problem there. Dental however is a different story. There is no "network" for dental so there is no lists of dentists that accept this insurance. I was told you can see any dentists that accept it but no help as to who accepts it. Our current dentist does not.

Anyone in Forumville familiar with this company? If you can recommend a dentist that takes this can you message me. TIA

I can recommenced a good dentist but sorry cannot help with the insurance. Seems like that means the employer does not offer dental insurance. Maybe talk to someone in HR.

Thanks for your help Hockeygirl063.

It does cover dental (80%) with just $50. yearly deductible, they just don't offer a list of providers like they do with medical.

I'm hopeful someone that also has HealthComp will chime in. She also just mentioned she had trouble with the eye chart at the DMV so I need to check for vision centers also.

Pacific University has several eye clinics in the area, they teach opticians.

I recommend your wife talk to her employer's benefits manager (if they have one, lacking that HR) and ask for a customer service contact at Healthcomp. They may be subcontracting dental to another insurer.

When I look at the Healthcomp website it appears that they are an insurance broker so the health insurer would not be them.
