My doctor said it's really a due week and any baby born during that week is on time. First child, three days late. Second, two days late. Third, showed up the day she was due.

I've never heard of a baby being born on its due date... at least out of everyone I know personally. Funny I was just talking to my wife about this last night.

My first was 9 days late (induced) and my second... well, when I took my pregnancy test, I counted the weeks and gave myself July 10th as a due date. The doctors gave me the 12th. After the first ultrasound, they figured I was further along and changed my due date to the 6th. I was induced on the 17th. So 5 to 11 days late.
If I could go back in time, I will have told them to go you know what themselves instead of letting them induce me.
