I heard there is a good place for shooting somewhere near Iron Springs Rd, called Dozy, or Dosey or something like that. Can anyone describe exactly where it is? Thanks. Scott

Thanks, I am really looking for an outdoor area. I know there is another one out Perkinsville Rd past the meat packing plant in Cv. That one sounds easier to find, even though it is further away. I think we will go there and try to find the other one off Iron Spgs rd some other time.

But I would still be interested in the future if anyone reading can post more specifics on its location.

Maybe it is one of those little local secrets that nobody wants to post on a public forum, lol.

Cheers,
Scott

I don't know the name of it but I accidentally drove down to an outdoor range off of Iron Springs Road a few years back, it looked fairly nice. You take a right off of Iron Springs Road onto the road that takes you to Granite Mountain (the campground, lake, and all that). I think it is Forest Road 374. Take your first right possible once on that road only a hundred yards or so from the Iron Springs turn off. If I remember correctly it is a gravel road, follow it for less than a half mile and it comes out at the shooting range. Hope you find it.

This would be High Noon between PV and Prescott, on highway 69. Good indoor range and gunshop. No website.

Much better gunshop would be J & G Sales in Prescott. http://www.jgsales.com/
