I cant STAND that title. Really. Noone is "America's team", there are too many fans of too many other teams for that title to even make the slightest sense.
Favorite NFC team are the Cowboys and favoite AFC team are the Patriots. I've liked both temas since the the mid 90's, I'm not one of the people who've just recently jumped on the Tom Brady or Tony Romo bandwagon.
Cowboys...and I'd say they're arguably the #1 sports team in Texas...not just in DFW...they have a ton of fans in Austin, San Antonio, West Texas, New Mexico and on up to Oklahoma and Oklahoma City.
I second this I think almost the whole state of New Mexico are Cowboys fans.
