Rudolph from the Vikings didn't hesitate & had better luck. A couple Packer fans in the area gave him a little push at the end. I think other opponents have tried as well.

Some players like to gloat after a td, while they're there, in the endzone, slamming aka spiking... remember that one?... the ball into the wall.

Who knows what the fans might do to get into these players' heads. I love watching this stuff, actually.

It usually backfires in the game though. Because the opposing team sees all of this, soaks it all in, and on the ensuing drive...

Default Post play taunting needs to be stopped by NFL or referees

Last night's game saw celebrations after regular plays or first downs. It is border line taunting and the coaches or referees or the league should stop it. Dancing around and pointing toward the goal line to indicate a first down is not needed. It delays the flow of the game and is unpleasant to the viewer.

After touchdowns should be allowed to an extent (which it is) and that is nice for the fans and the players.

The NFL doesn't want to hurt anybody's feelings.

The one time when I appreciate a rcvr jumping up and pointing out the fact that he just got the first down is when he'd just come across the middle and got clobbered while catching the ball or sacrificed his body somehow catching the thing.

Bouncing back up after a rough hit and rubbing it in the nose of the cb is held in the highest regard by me.

Taunting an opposing player is a little different in my mind than taunting a whole stadium.

If a rcvr cannot fight for the respect of another cb, it may make it harder for him to even earn that paycheck and roster spot.
