I'm in a pool at work. Winnings are $125 per quarter. So winners will earn $125-500. How much should money winners tip the guy who ran the pool? It is my understanding this is customary.
I never heard of tipping the person running a pool - but w/a co-worker, I'd probably offer to take him/her out for a drink or two Happy Hour. Friends are doing one this year that we are in, IF we win, we'll probably offer to take them out for lunch/dinner or drinks.
Hey you (edit) that say no tip...why don't you try running one sometime...
The person running it chooses to include you the least you can do is show a little appreciation by throwing them a couple bucks for the work they have done............. (edit last sentence)
that dont take into consideration the work it takes to run one ..........

Editing this sentence.
In any case I've never tipped before either...the people running it by me are just happy to get someone to buy squares.
