Will Darren Sproles play for Philadelphia in the Super Bowl today?
He's a former San Diego Charger, from way back when the team was fairly good. And in San Diego. Now he plays for the Philadelphia Eagles.
But in Game 3 this season he broke his arm and tore his ACL on the same play, and was declared "out for the season".
At the time, people didn't know the season for Philly would extend to Feb. 4, 2018. Does anybody know if Sproles has recovered enough to play today?
He's my man. I still have the dark blue Chargers jersey with his name and number on them, and will probably wear it today, just because.
If Sproles plays, I will definitely root for Philly. But if he doesn't, I'll probably root for the Patriots, just because of all the cr@p they've taken over the years. Some of it deserved, most of it not. And because they're a pretty good team.
No, he will not be activated. I hope he comes back next year. He's class act, and a great player.
With the running game they have now Sproles is the low man out,he should do well on another team maybe the Giants.
