Why is Tebow back in but Kapernick isnt? Is this really a question? I didnt realize it was a done deal with Tebow .. but the short answer... Maybe if Kapernick behaved more like Tebow he would have been back in long ago. https://redstate.com/brandon_morse/2...simple-n378138
Bottom line, Kap would of been back in the league had he played by the rules concerning that "special tryout" the NFL gave him a few years back. Once he changed the venue and refused to sign a waiver, he ended any chance of getting back in.

Agreed , like the author of the article said... He wants to be an activist , hes not willing to take a backup position or any other position than starter for starter money... not going to happen.

Thing is had Kap really wanted back in, I believe he would of worked his way back to being a starter. When comparing "pure talent" between the two Kap comes out way ahead.
Tebow did not have an arm plain in simple. His last try at QB (Phila Eagles) he was working with former MLB pitcher Tom Hausman to strengthen his arm, but to no avail. His lack of arm strength was also the reason behind being a DH in MiLB.

There’s a lot of Kaepernick “may” or Kaepernick “will likely” in that article. Glad that author knows exactly what Kaep would do if he played again. Maybe if the author knows exactly what athletes will do he should instead get into gambling and not writing garbage articles like that one.
willing to seize the second chance being offered to him;
grateful for said chance
not a toxic, morale-destroying, one-man traveling circus show
whereas the none of these could be said of the other.
But other than that the scenarios are completely comparable.
Tebow's a circus sideshow act, too. His #1 talent by far is moving merchandise and selling tickets. The guy's entire pro career (football and baseball) has been little more than a giant marketing gimmick. The Jags can sign him to the veteran minimum and cut him before the season starts and they'll still come out ahead because there are a bunch of suckers out there who'll buy his Jags jersey and go to the pointless preseason games just to watch him ride the bench all day.
