Big game tomorrow. A win against the Jets last week was expected. A win tomorrow on the road against the Panthers would give this season a different feel. We don't know how good the Panthers are but we do know they are not part of the bottom four (Jets, 49ers, Bengals, Colts). Bills play those "bottom four" teams a combined four times this year by the way. I want to see if the run defense can continue it's performance from last week.

This will be my final post on this thread. The Buffalo News is now charging for the Bills content. That was where I got my info and enjoyment. I will no longer follow the Bills. I hope they do well. Goodbye and good luck.

The defense is good and the offense is awful. The past two seasons, the offense was decent and the defense was awful. The season before that, the defense was great and the offense was average.

They're never good at the same time. Really makes you see what a huge mistake hiring Rex Ryan was. The team was playoff bound one of the past two seasons if the defense had been better.

That's the problem with changing schemes and personnel on both sides of the ball every two years. Why did we tinker with the offense at all when we all knew it was the defense that was under performing? Oh well.

It's still too early to say for certain our defense is back as a top 10 unit but so far so good.

It is fine. I don't want the new regime cursed with Whaley mistakes. Trading away offensive stars for draft picks was the right move. During this century this team has always been a few positions away, almost there if we can get this star player. And it doesn't pan out. So investing so much in the 2018 draft is something different and I hope it will work out.

Zay, Zay Zay, I really like how this kid looks but man he's having big time issues hanging onto balls.

Great all around team win today. Great effort by the defense. Even though we got gashed a few times for some big runs overall I thought the run defense was really stout. They are a great bend but don't break defense.

Great kicking today by Haushka.

Wow, how about this Buffalo Bills defense? They are really impressive today. Granted the Falcons are missing some big names on offense....

I thought trying to draw the Falcons offsides was too fancy. Go for the touchdown. If you don't get it, trust the defense for a safety. This defense has been making Atlanta miserable all day and I would have gone for it there over the field goal.

I can't complain too much I guess.

Good game from Buffalo. They came to the ATL and played a solid game and won 23-17.
