The Highlander Glenderry Three Man Tent is an excellent option for those seeking a durable solution for all-weather camping.
The tent is made out of rugged material and can be counted upon for several seasons of use. It can be easily pitched in just a few minutes, even by the most amateur campers. However, due to the lack of clear instructions incorporated into the packaging, users would be well advised to set up their tent well in advance of their camping excursion to ensure that they clearly understand the assembly process.
The tent floor is so well constructed that even users who must sleep in wet conditions or on rocky ground should not feel too adversely affected. The tent boasts a generous amount of room inside, while the opening is wide enough to allow users to enter with ease. A screened portion enables for adequate ventilation and protection from insects at the same time.
The top covering does well to keep out rain even in torrential downpours, so users need not worry about their ability to keep their possessions dry. However, note that in extreme wind, the rain covering can blow off, especially if it is not carefully anchored into the ground. Since only a single stake is used for the rain covering, this is probably not the wisest choice for anyone who will be subjected to harsh winds. When I used this tent to go camping at an Irish music festival, I was very dismayed to come back and find all my belongings soaked through with rain, because I neglected to check the security of the covering before leaving for the day.
With a bit of preparation and awareness, most users will find that this tent is well suited for comfortable accommodation in a variety of weather conditions.
