Hamilton has created another amazing blender yet again. This processor offers a 10-cup bowl for processing needs. The bowl is large enough to use once instead of using a smaller food processor with a smaller cup capacity. The Hamilton Beach processor saves the user lots of time in the kitchen. The processor costs less than $50 to own, which is a good deal for the capacity. The processor has 500 watts of power, which is slightly less than other food processors in the same class. Many quality food processors have at least 700 watts of power. If the user only needs the food processor for small jobs like simple everyday needs, this is the right processor for the job.

The food processor measures 15 x 11 x 9 inches and weighs 8 pounds. The processor is a little heavy and bulky but works well. This is not the kind of food processor that users leave on the countertop because it takes up a large amount of space, but it stores nicely in the cabinets. The food processor operates on two speeds, one and two, and has a pulse knob for added power. The machine has an easy to use dial that users cannot get wrong. There are no complicated buttons and operating features, so using this food processor is easy.

The processor also has an oversized chute for larger jobs. The machine has a plastic cover on that chute for safety purposes. This feature also prevents food from splattering across the counter. One minor issue is that the processor had a burning smell during the first usage, which was processing a large potato. The machine did a good job but the motor was probably forces to work much harder than normal. This only happened once. Breaking larger foods into several processing jobs is the easy solution to this problem.

The Hamilton Beach food processor has stainless steel blades that are very precise. The machine also has a reversible shredding and slicing disc. The slicing disc works perfectly, but the shredding disc does not work as well at times. Sometimes chunks of food are left unshredded and slip through the processor. This does not happen very often, but it does happen.

The processor is a great buy for the capacity. Everything is dishwasher safe except the motor. The machine also wipes clean in seconds. There are a few minor issues but still worth the price. The food processor has its own internal cord storage area and a 1-year warranty.
