The Panasonic NN-T945SF Inverter Microwave works like a charm. Food is cooked quickly and thoroughly. The microwave is also fairly easy to clean and operate. The design is visually appealing as well as the low price. The microwave is spacious which comes in handy when you want to heat up multiple or large items quickly without using the oven.
I have to say honestly that I don't really understand the inverter technology that comes with the machine. I chose this machine because we have one at work and it has worked solidly for years. Customer reviews are mixed, but I have had nothing but good luck with this machine. Also, the price, $179, seemed like a good deal. More importantly, food tastes great. No more microwave taste, no more burned food, and no more frozen sections if you use this machine.
The machine is lightweight, but solidly constructed with an interface that is easy to use. The only drawback is the cardboard insert inside of this machine. I would recommend covering food when cooking to keep splatters from messing up the cardboard insert. Cleaning the rest of the interior of the microwave is fairly painless. The removable glass tray is spill friendly and easy to clean. The machine is smart enough to automatically stop once it senses you have defrosted food (turbo defrost feature) and there are several programmable settings, over a dozen, to choose from. The machine will also keep food warm in the microwave until you are ready to eat it.
The microwave has a one year limited warranty for everything except the tube which has a five year warranty.
