Cuisinart DTC-975 12-Cup Programmable Thermal Coffeemaker - Black & Stainless

Rating: 3 out of 5
  • Currently 3.0/5.0

If you're in need of a hot cup of coffee. You're gonna need a coffee maker. Of course you can buy the instant coffee they have at the stores. But something about instant doesn't have that quality taste to it. Take the Cuisinart DTC-975 12-Cup Programmable Thermal Coffeemaker - Black & Stainless.

What does the coffeemaker offer you?

Double-wall insulated 12-cup thermal carafe. Sleek black metal design. Fully automatic with 24-hour programmability. Patented Brew Through/Pour Through lid. Auto shut-off with "beep" at end of cycle. And a brew pause feature for stealing a cup before the brew is done. The maker costs $185.00, but you can also get it for $99.95.

This coffee maker is great for on the go. It has a limited 3-year warranty. This coffeemaker has the name of Cuisinart. You know you're getting over 30 years of service. And is one of the most recognized names in cookware and kitchen products today. I haven't heard of any negativity about this product.

I like this coffeemaker because of the dense black and silver design. Making the aesthetics pleasable. This coffeemaker is easy to clean up as well. Tip for coffeemakers is that you should clean them every day. Most people don't pay attention to coffee pots. They leave their makers on or they just don't clean them out. Which makes your coffee have a horrible aftertaste. Cleaning the pot out everyday would keep the pot not only clear of bacteria, but would greatly improve the taste.

Another thing about what people do is that they keep their makers on 24/7. Leaving your coffee unit on all the time isn't a good thing by no means. It will cause the maker to wear out a lot faster. However, that shouldn't be much of a problem because coffeemakers can and do last a very long time.
